The Australian Labradoodle Breed

The Australian Labradoodle breed originated in the 1980s, responding to the specific need for a dog that could assist a blind person and that would also prevent allergies and hair loss.
Development took an entire decade, and the Australians at Tegan Park and Rutland Manor
achieved this by using the Labrador Retriever and the Poodle as their original breeds.
Our dogs are directly descended from these lines.
This means that the authentic Australian Labradoodle is not a simple direct cross between a Labrador
and a Poodle, called Labradoodles (simply), but a breed with characteristics
established over more than 30 years of work.
The Australian Labradoodle is the perfect balance between a playful, curious, tender, super-intelligent, and beautiful puppy, and an affectionate, companionable, empathetic, sociable adult dog, always seeking eye contact, always wanting to be where you are. It is without a doubt the best choice.

The Australian Labradoodle's temperament is balanced, with great potential for therapy and assistance work.
They are extremely intelligent, sociable, sensitive, cheerful, and empathetic dogs.
Very loyal to their family, they are not at all aggressive and get along well with other dogs or animals.
They are easy to train and very good with children.
They easily learn tricks and special tasks.
This breed thrives on contact with people.
They are very intuitive about the emotional state of family members, and it is this ability to "perceive" that has made Australian Labradoodles excellent dogs for people with special needs.
They adapt easily to any location, whether city or rural.
