Are there any differences between a Labradoodle & an Australian Labradoodle ?
Yes, there is a big difference.
The Labradoodle is a direct cross between a poodle and a Labrador, so neither temperament nor hypoallergenicity can be guaranteed.
Australian Labradoodles have a multigenerational approach that eliminates unwanted Labradoodle characteristics. Through genetic work, starting with the F10, we can guarantee all the highly valued characteristics of an Australian Labradoodle (hypoallergenic, temperament, intelligence, etc.).

How do you guarantee the purity of the puppy breed ?
Our breeding dogs have been certified by WALA, having passed the following tests:
- Official and certified ophthalmological examination (ECVO) by the Bellaterra Veterinary Hospital.
- Hip, patella and elbow dysplasia checks, cardiopathy test, all them performed by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (O.F.A.) of the USA.
- Inbreeding level: the inbreeding level between the breeding male and female is verified to be < 0.03.

Male or Female ?
Our Australian Labradoodles have excellent temperaments, so both males and females are valid and completely similar.

Do we sterilize the puppies ?
NO!!! WE DELIVER THE PUPPIES AT 8 WEEKS UNNEUTRALIZED. The families are the ones who commit to neutering them not before they are a year and a half old, following WALA standards.
Sterilizing a female once it's adult improves its quality of life. It prevents the development of breast tumors, which are so common in females, as well as the likelihood of life-threatening infections.
In males, it prevents complications that arise over time, such as prostate disorders and testicular tumors..jpeg)
At what age do we deliver the puppies ?
According to the WALA Code of Ethics, our puppies are delivered at 8/9 weeks of age, which is the optimal time, both from a weaning and socialization perspective.

Are the puppies delivered vaccinated and dewormed ?
At six weeks of age, they are vaccinated against canine distemper and parvovirus. At week eight, they are vaccinated against canine parvovirus, distemper, canine infectious hepatitis, canine infectious laryngotracheitis, and canine leptospirosis.
They are delivered fully dewormed. Deworming takes place at weeks 3-4, 5, and 8..jpeg)
Are the puppies socialized?
Absolutely. The puppies are born in our legal and certified breeding zoologic center located in the province of Girona, in an idyllic rural and family setting, always under our constant 24-hour supervision. We deliver the puppies socialized and personally trained by us during these 8-9 weeks.
Every day, all puppies undergo tests and ENS AND ESI PUPPY STIMULATION EXERCISES, sensory and neurological stimulation exercises that are vital for the puppy's excellent development. See more information at the following link. https://pupstartsbreeders.com/puppy-raising-tips-ens-and-esi/

When can I take my puppy outside ?
The puppy can and should go outside for proper socialization. However, until it has completed its vaccination schedule, it may only be carried outside in your arms or in some other way that ensures it doesn't touch the ground. After the third dose of vaccine , and with the veterinarian's approval, it may be allowed outside.

How much excercise do puppies need ?
For puppies under 12 months of age, exercise should be appropriate for their age. This is to avoid hip and joint problems, which can occur during this stage of rapid growth if excessive exercise is provided for their age. Any activity that requires big efforts in uneven terrain, vertical drop, as well as stairs should be avoided. Starting with 10 minutes of continuous excercise is adequate. Then, it's advisable to gradually increase the exercise time. Our rule of thumb: increase the time by one minute per week of the puppy's life until they are one year old.
As adults, Australian Labradoodles require moderate exercise. They are adept runners, love to jog alongside a bike, and are great companions for their owners, even joining them when swimming.
